കൊല്ലം സ്വദേശിയായ കൃഷ്ണകുമാർ പി സ്പൈനൽ മസ്കുലാർ അട്രോഫി (SMA) ടൈപ്പ് 2 എന്ന അവസ്ഥയോടൊപ്പം ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഒരു വൈകല്യാവകാശ പ്രവർത്തകനും പ്രഭാഷകനും എഴുത്തുകാരനും സാമൂഹിക പ്രവർത്തകനുമാണ്. നിലവിൽ മൊബിലിറ്റി ഇൻ ഡിസ്ട്രോഫി (MIND) എന്ന സംഘടനയുടെ വൈസ് ചെയർമാനായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു വരുന്നു. നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളുടെ നടകളിൽ, നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ നടകളിൽ (യാത്രാ വിവരണം) എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങൾ. കേരള സാമൂഹ്യനീതി വകുപ്പിന്റെ ജൂറി സ്പെഷ്യൽ മെൻഷൻ (2022), കേരള സംസ്ഥാന യൂത്ത് ഐക്കൺ അവാർഡ് (സാമൂഹ്യസേവനം 2018–2019), കേരള സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിന്റെ കരുണ്യ അവാർഡ് (2017–2018), കാവിൻകെയർ എബിലിറ്റി അവാർഡ് (എമിനൻസ് വിഭാഗം 2022) സബൽ ഷൈനിംഗ് സ്റ്റാർ അവാർഡ് (ഔട്ട്സ്റ്റാൻഡിംഗ് വിഷൻ വിഭാഗം) – ടാറ്റ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് (2020–2021), കൈരളി ടി.വി. ഫീനിക്സ് അവാർഡ് (2022), ജോർജിയൻ അവാർഡ് (സാമൂഹ്യസേവനം) – ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭ (2024–2025) എന്നീ പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം അർഹനായിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Krishnakumar P, a native of Kollam, is a disability rights advocate, speaker, author, and social activist living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the organization Mobility in Dystrophy (MIND). His publications include Noottandukalude Nadakalil and Noottandinte Nadakalil (travelogue) . He has received several honors, including the Kerala Social Justice Department’s Jury Special Mention (2022), Kerala State Youth Icon Award for Social Service (2018–2019), Karunya Award from the Government of Kerala (2017–2018), CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence (2022), Sabal Shining Star Award (Outstanding Vision Category) by the TATA Group (2020–2021), Kairali TV Phoenix Award (2022), and the Georgian Award for Social Service by the Orthodox Sabha (2024–2025).
