മലയാള സാഹിത്യത്തിലും, സാംസ്കാരിക രംഗത്തും, പ്രമുഖനായ എഴുത്തുകാരനും വിമർശകനും പ്രഭാഷകനുമാണ് സുനിൽ പി. ഇളയിടം. 1968-ൽ ജനിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം മലയാള സാഹിത്യത്തിൽ എം.എ.യും, ചിത്രകലയിൽ പി.എച്ച്.ഡിയും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലവിൽ ശ്രീ ശങ്കരാചാര്യ സംസ്കൃത സർവകലാശാലയിൽ മലയാള വിഭാഗം അധ്യാപകനായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നു. മുല്ലനേഴി സാഹിത്യ പുരസ്കാരവും, കെ.എൻ. എഴുത്തച്ഛൻ പുരസ്കാരവും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അജ്ഞാതവുമായുള്ള അഭിമുഖങ്ങൾ, പതിറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ കവിത, അലയടിക്കുന്ന വാക്ക്, വായനാവിചാരം, അനുഭൂതികളുടെ ചരിത്രജീവിതം എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാന കൃതികൾ.
Sunil P. Ilayidom is a prominent Malayalam writer, critic, lecturer, and cultural thinker. Born in 1968, he holds an M.A. in Malayalam literature and a Ph.D. in Fine Arts. He currently serves as a faculty member in the Malayalam Department at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. A recipient of the Mullanari Literary Award and the K.N. Ezhuthachan Award, his major works include Interviews with the Unknown, Poetry of the Decade, The Trembling Word, Wayanad Reflections, and The Historical Life of Emotions.
