മലയാള സാഹിത്യത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ നോവലിസ്റ്റും വിവർത്തകനുമാണ് ടി. ഡി. രാമകൃഷ്ണൻ. 1961-ൽ തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലാണ് ജനനം. ആലുവ യൂണിയൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കോളേജിലും, മദ്രാസ് സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം. സതേൺ റെയിൽവേയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹം, 2016-ൽ സാഹിത്യത്തിനായി വിരമിച്ചു. ഫ്രാൻസിസ് ഇട്ടിക്കോര, സുഗന്ധി എന്ന ആണ്ടാൾ ദേവനായകി, ആൽഫ, മാമ ആഫ്രിക്ക, അന്ധർ ബധിരർ മൂകർ, കോരപ്പാപ്പന് സ്തുതിയായിരിക്കട്ടെ, തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് പ്രധാന കൃതികൾ. കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ്, വയലാർ രാമവർമ്മ മെമ്മോറിയൽ അവാർഡ്, മലയാറ്റൂർ അവാർഡ്, തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി പുരസ്കാരങ്ങളും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
T. D. Ramakrishnan is a leading Malayalam novelist and translator born in 1961 in Thrissur. He studied at Union Christian College, Aluva and the University of Madras. After his career with the Southern Railway, he opted for voluntary retirement in 2016 to fully devote himself to literature. His notable works include Francis Itty Cora, Sugandhi alias Andal Devanayaki, Alpha, Mama Africa, Andhar Badhrar Mookar, and Korappappan Sthuthiyayirikkatte. He has received several major honours, including the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, the Vayalar Award, and the Malayattoor Award.
