പി ജിംഷാർ

P. Jimshar is a prominent Malayalam author whose debut novel, Bhoopadathilninnu Ninnu Kuzhichedutha Kurippukal, was shortlisted in the DC Kizhakemuri Birth Centenary Novel Competition. He has been honoured with the Debut Literary Award from Malayalam University for his work Padachonte Chithrapradarshanam, and the Ayyappa Paniker Award from MG University for his poem Daivathod. In addition to his literary achievements, Jimshar received the Special Jury Award from the Kerala Women’s Studies Centre at its inaugural Female Short Film Festival for Ennilek, a short film he scripted and directed. With a decade-long association with the film industry, he has worked as an Assistant Director on acclaimed films including Ennu Ninte Moideen and Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya. His next book, titled Lailakkulsu, is forthcoming.
